Your tasks and responsibilities

You are the driving power and organizational talent behind the HR Business Partner & The Finance Business Partner.

The HR Business Partner is mainly in charge of implementation of our human resources policies, supporting strategic objectives, hiring staff and negotiating employment agreements, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, managing staff wellness and performance reviews, Motivating and supporting current staff.

The Finance Business partner is in charge of directing financial planning and strategy, analyzing and reporting on financial performance, overseeing audit and tax functions, developing and implementing accounting policies, preparing forecasts and comprehensive budgets, reviewing departmental budgets.

Both are part of the Executive Committee of Ayming Belgium and closely working with the Managing director of the company as with the Global HR director and the Global CFO of the Group. They are, with regards to their responsibilities, working closely together either.

Concretely, after a complete training, you will be able to manage tasks such as:

Finance assistant (50% of your time):

  • Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions;
  • Track and reconcile bank statements;
  • Create cost analysis reports (fixed and variable costs);
  • Record accounts payable and accounts receivable;
  • Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed;
  • Perform the administrative tasks of the Finance BP;

HR assistant (50% of your time):

  • Create and update job descriptions;
  • Prepare in writing the salary proposals for future colleagues;
  • Manage the internal HR database;
  • Perform background and reference checks;
  • Coordinate interviews and contact applicants;
  • Organize our employee referral process, including asking for referrals and managing bonus requests;
  • Assist in the onboarding of new colleagues;
  • Be the administrative expert for the HR BP;

Your Profile

  • You are fully bilingual Dutch/French and fluent in English.
  • Your knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures is good
  • If you have a work experience as a Finance Assistant, Finance Officer or similar role, you are one step ahead!
  • MS Excel has no secrets for you
  • You have an analytical approach with a passion for people
  • You are familiar with accounting softwares (e.g. WinBooks)
  • Organization, pragmatism and time-management are keywords in your daily work
  • An eye for details, with an ability to spot numerical errors
  • BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
