As the owner of a building, you receive a tax assessment notice each year containing the amount of the property tax to be paid.
Ayming provides you with a simulation tool to anticipate the amount of this tax!
The calculation of the property tax represents a percentage of the cadastral income (RC) of your building, indexed each year. This property tax is composed of :
- the regional share: in the Brussels-Capital Region and Wallonia, the rate is 1.25%, while in Flanders it is 3.97%.
- the additional centimes of the provinces (or agglomeration) and the municipalities, which constitute the largest part of the tax.
In addition to the annual indexation of the RC, the rate of the municipal and provincial shares may change each year. It is therefore wise to anticipate the amount of your next property tax; to this end, Ayming provides you with its tax calculator.
You will then be able to :
- Anticipate the amounts and therefore control your budget.
- Check the assumptions related to your investments.
For Brussels Region you can also get the estimated amount of the regional tax on non-residential surfaces.
